Terms of Service

1. Service Agreement

By scheduling a repair with ProFix Appliance Repair New Jersey ("ProFix," "we," "us"), you agree to these terms. We provide residential and commercial appliance repair services in New Jersey, NJ and surrounding zip codes.

2. Appointments and Scheduling

• Appointment windows are estimates. We will call you 30 minutes before arrival.
• Please have an adult (18+) present during the service visit.
• Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the appointment may incur a $35 cancellation fee.
• No-shows (technician arrives, no one home) will be charged the diagnostic fee.

3. Diagnostic Fee

A diagnostic fee of $75 applies to all service calls. This fee is waived if you authorize and proceed with the repair. The fee covers the technician's time, travel, and diagnosis — it is non-refundable if you decline the repair.

4. Pricing and Payment

• All pricing is provided upfront before any repair work begins.
• Payment is due upon completion of service.
• We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and Zelle.
• Prices shown online are estimates. Final pricing depends on diagnosis and parts required.

5. Warranty

• 90-day parts and 30-day labor warranty on all completed repairs.
• Warranty covers the specific repair performed. It does not cover new or unrelated failures.
• Warranty is void if the appliance is tampered with by a third party after our repair.
• Parts are sourced as OEM (original equipment manufacturer) or equivalent quality aftermarket.

6. Limitations of Liability

Our liability for any repair is limited to the cost of that repair. We are not responsible for:

• Pre-existing damage or wear unrelated to the repair
• Food spoilage or loss resulting from appliance failure
• Consequential or incidental damages
• Appliances that are deemed beyond economical repair

7. Parts and Availability

We carry common parts for major appliance brands. If a part needs to be ordered, we will notify you of the estimated wait time. Parts availability may extend repair timelines. We cannot guarantee same-day completion for all repairs.

8. Service Area

We serve New Jersey — including Essex County, Morris County, Union County, Somerset County, Middlesex County, and Monmouth County. Service areas include Morristown, Edison, Westfield, Bridgewater, Red Bank, and surrounding towns. Zip codes outside our service area may be declined.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Morris County, New Jersey.
